Position Objective
Plan, coordinate, and control preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and facilities, ensuring the availability of the required resources, compliance with maintenance schedules, and maximum asset reliability while supporting production, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar maintenance planning role within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Language
- Intermediate English (ability to read technical manuals, understand technical documentation, and communicate effectively in basic business situations).
Technical Knowledge
- Proficient in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) for managing maintenance notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, and asset management.
- Experience using SAP Fiori for maintenance planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
- Experience with Smart Maintenance software for maintenance scheduling and work management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of spare parts inventory management and warehouse control.
- Experience tracking spare parts availability and procurement.
- Familiarity with purchase requisitions and material planning.
- Understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance performance indicators (KPIs).
Preferred Knowledge
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Lean Manufacturing principles.
- 6S methodology.
- Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa).
- Asset Management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update annual, monthly, and weekly preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Plan maintenance activities based on manpower, equipment availability, production requirements, tools, and materials.
- Create, release, monitor, and close maintenance work orders using SAP PM and SAP Fiori.
- Schedule and manage maintenance activities using Smart Maintenance.
- Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules and analyze deviations.
- Coordinate maintenance windows with Production to minimize equipment downtime.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and maintenance consumables.
- Track purchase requisitions and material deliveries to ensure spare parts availability.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, Bills of Materials (BOM), maintenance plans, and technical documentation.
- Generate maintenance reports and monitor departmental KPIs.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Support equipment failure analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments.
