Your position
As a Junior Procurement Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of Procurement and play an integral role in the team.
You will:
• Manage procurement and contracting processes for logistics services
• Identify and develop new suppliers
• Monitor the supplier onboarding, approval, and evaluation process.
• Support supplier risk management
• Prepare reports, market analyses, and performance metrics
• Coordinate activities with internal departments such as Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Compliance.
• Provide support for regional procurement projects for Latin America.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement procedures, and corporate ethics standards.
Your profile
As a Junior Procurement, you will be responsible for conducting bidding, negotiation, and contracting processes, ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, compliance with corporate policies, and risk mitigation throughout the supply chain.
- The ideal candidate will support logistics service procurement and supplier risk management activities in Mexico and other countries in Latin America (primarily Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru).
- Fluent in SPANISH and ENGLISH
- Excellent Strategic, Problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Education and Professional Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of work experience industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Results-oriented.
- Sense of urgency
- Proactivity and a commitment to continuous learning.
Technical and Core Competencies
- Knowledge of Product storage
- Knowledge in SAP
- High proficient with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
- Can work independently
- Process improvement driven
- Delegate, recognize and develop potentials: Motivate achieve optimal performance to achieve optimum performance
