About the Role

RHI Magnesita India Refractories Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional to join our HSE Department located in Dalmiapuram. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards within our sales division, contributing to maintaining a safe workplace and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs tailored to the Sales division and overall corporate standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Provide expert guidance and training to employees and leadership on safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing environmental impact and enhancing workplace safety.
• Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies and manage necessary reporting and documentation.
• Stay informed about emerging EHS trends, best practices, and legislative changes relevant to the industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an EHS role, ideally within manufacturing or sales environments.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments and with external agencies.
• Certification in relevant EHS programs or standards (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Proficient in preparing reports, safety documentation, and delivering training sessions.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
