About the job

In this position you will take care of the entire procurement process for certain technical product groups, from obtaining quotations, preparing bid comparisons to conducting purchasing negotiations and drawing up contracts and purchase orders. Further developing the local procurement team and leading change processes also fall under the scope of this role. On a regular basis you will cooperate with other regional and global procurement teams and participate in the implementation of innovative purchasing concepts. As an essential part of RHI Magnesita’s European procurement team, you will contribute to achieving the company’s financial and operational targets and will directly impact our overarching target to increase sustainability in everything we do.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Conducting market studies, identifying trends and opportunities in the sourcing markets
• Supporting the implementation of electronic catalogue platforms (SAP Ariba)
• Coordinating the supply chain for orders placed
• Supporting improvement of the overall Purchase-to-Pay process

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• A completed technical education (e.g. vocational school, technical high school) or comparable experience in technical procurement
• Very good MS Office knowledge and general affinity to digital tools
• Knowledge of SAP (Ariba) and PowerBI is an advantage

Languages

• Czech – fluent
• English – fluent
• German or any other language skills will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• A few years of professional experience in the field of technical procurement or supply chain management, including negotiations and tenders
