Your position
As part of our Corporate Development | Mergers & Acquisitions team, you will lead and drive international M&A transactions across the entire deal lifecycle, from identifying and originating opportunities to due diligence, signing, closing, and integration. Based at our corporate headquarters in Vienna, you will work closely with business units, senior leadership, external advisers, and potential acquisition targets. Combining strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset, you will turn complex opportunities into compelling investment proposals and support the continued development of RHI Magnesita’s global business.
Your tasks
- Leading international M&A transactions throughout the entire lifecycle, including identification, origination, due diligence, signing, closing, and integration
- Screening markets and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities based on strategic fit, valuation, synergy and cross-selling potential, and integration considerations
- Developing compelling investment cases in collaboration with business units and discussing them with senior management
- Building trusted relationships with potential acquisition targets and proactively originating new opportunities
- Performing company valuations based on financial performance and identified value-creation potential
Your profile
- A university or masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or an equivalent discipline
- Some years of relevant professional experience in consulting, project management, M&A, strategy, business development, corporate finance, reorganisation, or a related area
- A strong understanding of M&A processes and the complete transaction lifecycle
- Proven expertise in valuation models and financial analysis
- Strong negotiation capabilities and an understanding of the legal aspects of transactions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Languages: English – fluent

The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at €75,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
