About the job

As a Data Engineer at RHI Magnesita, you will be part of a global team that reports directly to the Head of Data Delivery. Your focus lies in designing and building solutions using Databricks (Spark SQL, Python), Azure Cloud/Data Lake/Data Factory, SQL, Synapse, and SAP S/4HANA. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and coordinate requirements with clients, as well as the Development Team. You will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, which will help us shape our strategy. With your technical background and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, together with our team, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Participating in and/or leading the development and delivery of solutions within the Scrum framework
• Collaborating closely with other teams to find innovative results in S4/HANA and Microsoft Fabric
• Reviewing deliverables for accuracy and quality

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• Ideally, a university degree in IT or similar

• Expertise in business intelligence (BI) backend development, data warehousing (DWH), databases, tools, and methodologies
• Programming/Scripting skills

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language will be considered an asset

Work Experience

• Several years of relevant professional experience in development/BI/DWH, data & analytics teams
• Profound database programming expertise (SQL) of any vendor

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 60.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that’s in line with market values.
