Global Product Coordinator MU/DU (all genders)

Your position
As Global Product Coordinator (GPC) for RHI Magnesita’s magnesite (MU) and dolomite (DU) based product portfolio, you will drive product strategies, manage the full product lifecycle, and support new product integration from mergers and acquisitions. Acting as a key technical interface between R&D, sales, marketing, and global functions, you will coordinate cross-functional projects and provide expert consultation. Your role includes resolving technical issues, reducing portfolio complexity, and supporting global market rollouts. With up to 20% travel, you will contribute to innovation, product development, and ensure alignment across regions through a holistic, value-driven approach to portfolio management.
Your tasks
- Managing and governing the global product portfolio across all lifecycle stages, including integration from mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Leading and supporting new product introductions, product lifecycle activities, and portfolio analyses in close collaboration with marketing, sales, plants, R&D, and global product management (GPR/GPS).
- Providing technical expertise for troubleshooting, customer complaint resolution, and process optimization, while supporting operations, sales, and marketing with training and technical input.
- Acting as a key interface between strategic and operational stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and cooperation across all hierarchy levels and global functions.
- Promoting the use of digital and AI tools, contributing to IP decisions including patents and licensing, and supporting product and technology development projects with internal and external experts.
- Gathering and analyzing customer and competitor feedback, presenting new developments internally and externally, and supporting marketing efforts through material preparation and market insights.
Your profile
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with an assertive, structured, and proactive approach
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Ceramic, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering
- Several years of experience in technical marketing and/or application of refractory products in the steel industry
- Solid technical understanding of basic mixes applications, supported by strong project management skills applied in technically complex environments
Languages: English (proficient) - skilled in technical and professional communication
Nice to have: Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software

The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at €78,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
