About the job

In this role you will be reporting directly to the Head of Business Unit Industrial (C&L, NFM, Process Industries) and will be leading and inspiring a team of between 30-40 people with currently 15 direct reports and a revenue of +200 million.


Your tasks will include

  • Global Lead function, business unit PnL, profit-oriented and technically driven, handling project business to provide state-of-the-art turnkey solutions to clients, holistic process management: from the development of strategic refractory quality concepts to their implementation.
  • Leading vision and strategy for the nonferrous products, ensuring technology development / engineering development / production process improvement, and utilizing the most up-to-date technology to optimize processes and to reduce costs.
  • Leading the strategy and business administration, product portfolio management, pricing strategy, and marketing in line with material and technology trends.
  • Leading multifaceted interfaces and strong alignment with supervisors, professional technical and scientific teams, innovations, supply chain and investments.
  • Managing large scale projects, including coordination with several production sites of engineering and design, alongside, key account management and commercial guidance on a global scale to support all regions.


About you

You bring profound experience in technical and/or mechanical engineering as well as in Business Administration/Commercial Management and you have comprehensive know-how of nonferrous metals products and solutions for OEMs and/or end customers. Furthermore, you have an in-depth understanding of the risk factors within the production process. Advanced leadership experience within fast-paced and complex environments in matrix organizations, ideally within the nonferrous metals manufacturing industry with PnL responsibility, are vital for this role. A strong strategic approach and a visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate the changes and impact of the ESG targets are important for this role.

Education & skill set

  • University Degree Engineering/Industrial or similar thorough experience
  • Solid know-how on all the aspects of NFM products and solutions
  • Commercially savvy about sophisticated matrix structures



English – Proficient/Fluent


Work experience

  • Extensive experience in inclusive leadership within in a manufacturing industry, ideally with NFM / strong customer orientation
  • Profound commercial and technical experience in NFM products and solutions with PnL responsibility
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and prioritize projects within a fast-paced and complex environment

The potential annual gross salary for this position is € 120K on a full-time basis. We value your  education, skills and experience and will make sure these are reflected accordingly in your final  set salary.
