About the job

You are a confident professional who can perform a range of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance (IA, R&C) assignments? You excel at delivering independent, risk-based, value-adding reports aligned to the overall strategy as approved and reviewed by the Audit Committee? Then this highly visible role is for you: As Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Specialist, you will be tasked with performing mainly Internal Audit, but also Risk and Compliance assignments across a broad range of business units, plants and processes. You will review existing practices and develop ideas to improve the way things are done and thus enhance the delivery of our strategy. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across RHI Magnesita, including senior executives, will be crucial in this position.

 

In addition, your tasks will include:

  • Planning and performing internal audit and review activities, such as risk and control diagnostics, in line with Internal Audit international standards and best practices.
  • Monitoring the results of the external audit and management reviews undertook during the year, and ensuring prompt follow-up and implementation of any recommendations that impact the internal controls of the company.
  • System analyses and reporting.
  • Assisting with other assignments in the area of risk and compliance (e.g. risk self-assessments or compliance initiatives).

What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any area - preferably in Accounting, Business, Law, Finance or related field
  • An Accountancy, Audit, Compliance or Risk Management qualification or equivalent is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative, creativity, energy and an ability to challenge the status quo
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 25%) within European locations

 

Languages

  • English – Proficient/Fluent
  • Any other language is considered as an asset

 

Work Experience

  • A few years of Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance Management experience

The potential annual gross salary for this position is € 60.000,00 on a full-time basis. We value your education, skills and experience and will make sure these are reflected accordingly in your final set salary.
