Legal Expert (all genders)

Hybrid

Vienna | Full time

Your position

In this position, you will be a central legal contact for internal stakeholders, providing pragmatic legal support across civil, commercial, and public law. You will independently handle legal matters, accompany regional and global projects, and work closely with external legal advisors. You will work hands-on across legal topics, contribute to building and improving legal processes, and actively engage in the use of AI tools (standardization, automation, and efficiency initiatives). The role sits in a dynamic and collaborative environment with broad legal exposure rather than narrow specialization. We value flexibility in working style, a hands-on attitude, and a strong service mindset – as well as mutual respect, openness, and a good sense of humor in everyday work.

Your tasks

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents
  • Providing legal advice and opinions on civil, commercial, and public law matters
  • Acting as a first point of contact for legal questions and managing cases independently
  • Supporting regional and global projects and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing and collaborating with external legal advisors and, where required, authorities, in close alignment with internal stakeholders and the legal team

Your profile

  • Independent and experienced professional with a pragmatic, service-oriented mindset, who enjoys being part of a reliable and cooperative team
  • Strong interest in AI-supported legal work, process improvement, and flexible ways of working
  • Completed Austrian bar exam (Rechtsanwaltsprüfung)
  • Several years of professional experience in Austrian civil, commercial, and public law in a major law firm or in-house

Languages: German – fluent; English – fluent

Nice to have: Experience or exposure to legal matters in other jurisdictions, economic education

Our offer

The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at € 80,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.

Mobility: Annual public transport pass (Wiener Linien)

Health: Sponsorship of sporting events, platform for mental & physical health (Mavie)
