Your position

In this role, you will work very closely with the Regional Head of Sales and the Regional Marketing Lead. You will contribute to shaping our market strategy, supporting the launch of new products, analyzing performance across key customer accounts, and driving initiatives to optimize inventory, digital processes, and profitability.  You will be trained in both commercial areas and develop into a fully capable specialist supporting our regional business. You will analyze product performance and gather feedback to help improve adoption and market penetration There will be travel within the region to our plants and customer sites.

 

Your tasks

  • Supporting go-to-market strategies, analyzing market and customer needs, assisting with proposals and reports, and participating in customer visits to identify growth opportunities
  • Contributing to product positioning, marketing campaigns, and digital sales tools while analyzing product performance and market feedback
  • Supporting inventory optimization and warehouse efficiency projects, and assisting with the implementation and training of digital inventory tools
  • Analyzing customer performance, costs, and profitability to identify margin improvement and efficiency measures, preparing reports for management
  • Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical Service, and Finance to coordinate initiatives and support regional decision-making

 

Your profile

  • Technical bachelors or master’s in industrial/mechanical/chemical engineering, ceramics, mining or similar fields
  • Affinity for digital systems; able to understand technical processes and explain them in simple terms
  • Strong analytical skills and high comfort working with data (Excel, BI tools, digital platforms)
  • Basic knowledge of refractories

 

Languages: English – Fluent, German – fluent

 

Our offer

The annual gross salary for this position will be € 55,000 on a full-time bases incl overtime.
