Head of People & Culture Germany (all genders)

Your position

As Head of People & Culture Germany, you will be a key driver in shaping and implementing our HR strategy across the region. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team of People & Culture Professionals and HR Business Partners, supporting our leaders in building empowered, engaged, and high-impact teams. With a solid background in collaboration with Works Councils and experience in global, regional, and local P&C projects, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust, future-ready P&C organization in Germany.

 

Your tasks

  • Leading P&C initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and local labor regulations
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business on all HR matters throughout the employee life cycle
  • Fostering strong and constructive collaboration with the Works Council
  • Enhancing the employee experience and talent development efforts to attract, retain, and grow top talent
  • Partnering closely with the Global Centre of Excellence (CoE), regional Talent Acquisition team and DEI committee to strengthen our inclusive culture

 

Your profile

  • Strong communicator with a strategic mindset and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
  • Degree in Human Resources, Economics, Psychology, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of German labor law and collaboration with Works Council
  • Basic knowledge and experience in Payroll projects
  • Experience in working in collaboration with Works Council committees at all levels of the company
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development, performance management, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture
  • Several years of experience in a similar senior HR role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment

 

Languages: German – fluent, English – fluent

 

Nice to have: Previous experience using Human Resources ERP systems and topics related to employee experience
