Your position

In this role, you will directly report to the Regional Head of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Europe & CIS. You will primarily support the implementation of HSE projects across the region. You will participate in projects related to environmental management and sustainability and maintain and document relevant KPIs and HSE metrics. You will support plant coaching activities within the Safety Culture Transformation program, analyze incidents, and assist with ongoing and emerging HSE-related topics and improvement initiatives. You will be required to travel within the region for this role (up to 40 %).

 

Your tasks

  • Supporting in the implementation and continuous development of HSE policies and processes
  • Participating in hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk evaluations
  • Supporting during internal audits and preparation for external certifications
  • Analyzing workplace accidents and derivation of preventive measures
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of employee training and safety briefings

Your profile

  • A bachelor's or master’s technical degree in engineering, mining, ceramics or any other field of similar technical relevance
  • Few years of initial work experience occupational health, safety, and environmental protection (HSE)
  • Data analytic skills
  • Basic knowledge of refractories, processes and occupational safety

 

Languages: English – fluent, German – Fluent

 

The recruitment process for the Global Trainee Program is a multi-stage process that spans several months from February 2026. The stages include the Screening stage, the Interview stage, and the Assessment Center stage. Successful candidates will be issued their contracts in June 2026 and will start their trainee positions in September 2026.
