Sales Manager Germany & Switzerland (all genders)

Your position

As a Sales Manager for Germany & Switzerland, you are responsible for developing and expanding our business with customers in the steel industry across the region. You’ll drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening long-term partnerships across our full refractory product portfolio. This role is field-based, with approximately 60–70% travel within Germany and Switzerland, and occasional international customer visits. You will work independently with a high degree of flexibility and ownership, structuring and developing your market while aligning closely with internal stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to our customers. As a trusted partner and ambassador, you act as key interface between our customers and our company, contributing directly to our commercial success.

 

Your tasks

  • Developing and executing customer-specific strategies to grow business and market share in Germany & Switzerland
  • Identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the steel industry
  • Managing key customer relationships and acting as the main point of contact
  • Driving the full sales cycle including negotiations, offers, and contract management
  • Collaborating with Technical Marketing and R&D to implement and roll out new products

 

Your profile

  • Degree in Ceramics, Metallurgy or similar, OR several years of equivalent professional experience in steel production and refractory products
  • Open, communicative personality with a structured, independent working style
  • Strong MS Office and SAP skills
  • Driver’s license (Class B) – company car provided

 

Languages: German – fluent, English – fluent
