About the job

As a technical project manager in our PI Projects and Supervisors department, you will mainly manage refractory projects for process industries, such as energy, environment and chemistry (EEC), aluminum and glass. Working independently or in project teams, your scope covers new construction or service/maintenance projects, always focusing on customer satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate with in-house departments (e.g. engineering, marketing and assembly/service), and also consult and support customers. Since most of the projects are international, you will be travelling globally approx. 30-50% of your worktime.

In addition, your tasks will include:

• Managing projects for Process Industries (EEC, aluminum, glass)
• Supporting the Sales colleagues in offer creation based on customer requests
• Analyzing the constructions/designs and specifications of the required performance
• Ensuring customer satisfaction while making sure deadlines are met
• Effectively leading project teams with up to 10 colleagues

You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. What we expect from you in terms of

Education & Skills

• A technical university degree or relevant experience in engineering or another relevant course of study
• Solid technical project management skills

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• German – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language is considered an asset

Work Experience

• A few years of relevant working experience
• Profound knowledge of the refractory industry
