Financial Reporting Senior Leader

Head of Reporting and Finance North America 

About the job 
RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic leader to be the Head of Reporting and Finance to for all North America. This role can sit in either York, PA or Tampa, FL.  This position will be leading a team of finance professionals to oversee all finance responsibilities for CAN, US, and Mexico.  This role will perform specialized work in accounting, and treasury functions, focusing on preparing statutory financial statements and reports.

Tasks will include:  
•    Lead team of Finance professionals in alignment with leadership expectations including ability to influence and communicate effectively
•    Prepare statements and reports for filing with regulatory agencies based on application of relevant accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, etc)
•    Analyze impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
•    Profit & Loss and balance sheet analysis, including variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports
•    Internal or vendor reporting 
•    Execute functional strategy and operational direction of the department 
•    Drive engagement, transformation, and innovation in alignment with business needs

About you
Do you have:
•    University degree in related field 
•    10 years of related experience 
•    Proven track record for leading and developing a team
•    US GAP experience is preferred 
•    Understanding and Knowledge of financial practices in CAN, US, and Mexico
•    Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite:  Excel, SAP
•    Ability to extract and analyze financial data 
•    Blackline experience is a plus
•    Ability to interact with staff in a pleasant, professional demeanor
•    Ability to analyze and summarize data and find solutions 
•    Process improvement driven with excellent problem solving and organizational skills 
•    Strong communication skills both written and verbal 
•    Bilingual in both English and Spanish is a plus 
•    IFRS experience is a plus
