Key Responsibilities
The HRBP will play a critical role in supporting our workforce and driving HR initiatives. Core responsibilities include:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Lead recruitment efforts with creativity and hands-on involvement in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Support cultural engagement and local talent management initiatives.
Employee Relations & Organizational Health
Partner with managers to assess team dynamics, anticipate challenges, and implement proactive solutions. Foster a collaborative environment and apply HR policies to support effective people management.
Policy & Compliance Expertise
Apply a strong understanding of HR policies, employee handbooks, and benefits programs to guide employee relations and ensure compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.
Benefits & Leave Administration
Facilitate company-provided benefits and leave of absence processes. Educate managers and employees on their roles and responsibilities, ensuring clear communication and compliance.
Immigration Support
Provide guidance and support on immigration-related processes for employees, including work authorization, visa sponsorship, and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with legal and external partners as needed.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or SHRM-CP/PHR certification in lieu of degree)
•Minimum 5 years of HRBP experience, preferably supporting field Sales and Service teams
•Proven experience with U.S. employment law across multiple states
•Familiarity with immigration processes and employee work authorization
Additional Skills
•Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (Ceridian and SAP preferred)
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
•Knowledge of Canadian labor laws and employment practices
