About the job:

We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst who has working experience to gather and create actionable intelligence with various business/purchasing data points and macroeconomic information.  The Intelligence Analyst will make intuitive connections between different information sets, vision to apply and adapt new business intelligence technology.


 Your tasks will include:

  • This position will be an integral part of our North America regional team (NAM)
  • Define, search for and interact with multiple sources to gather purchasing, market & competitor intelligence which will be summarized and shared with NAM teams.
  • Develop, maintain, govern and evolve regional intelligence reporting which will combine external & internal market information
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses together within dept and in collaboration with other global RHI Magnesita departments as needed
  • Interact with Procurement, Market Intelligence, Pricing & Quotation team colleagues to share information, exchange ideas and advance the entire team's competency.  This position is expected to help our other colleagues grow through digital enabling
  • Support specific Procurement activities to include vendor enrollment, guided buying, commerce automation and contracting as a key user of SAP Ariba, ensuring it is a sustainable, successful project implementation
  • Organize and lead KPI reviews of procurement categories together with the procurement category responsible lead

In addition, you have:

Bachelor's / Master's degree: International Business

Experience in refractory or steel industry an advantage

Working exposure to Power BI

Knowledge of writing SQL

Can attend and lead analytical presentations, capable of small-scale project management

Experience in refractory, heavy industrial or intelligence industries, exposure to SAP system (working knowledge of SAP Ariba is a plus)

 Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Intercultural work experience is an advantage
