About the internship:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst Intern who is interested in gaining practical working experience by growing with experience and actioning together with our teams on various supply chain and procurement topics, including areas where we are implementing new processes/systems as well as evaluating business/purchasing data points alongside macroeconomic information. The Analyst Intern will make intuitive connections between different information sets, with the vision to apply and adapt new business intelligence technology.
Your tasks may include:
- This position will be an integral part of supporting our North America (NAM) regional head of Supply Chain, Procurement & Commercial Execution.
- Define, search for and interact with multiple sources to gather purchasing, market & internal intelligence which will be summarized and shared with our NAM teams.
- Develop, maintain, and govern regional intelligence reporting which will combine external & internal market information.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses together within dept and in collaboration with other global RHI Magnesita departments as needed.
- Interact with Supply Chain, Procurement, & Commercial Execution team colleagues to share information.
- Complement specific Supply Chain activities to include a demand/supply planning system maturity (o9 Supply Planning Tool) and finished goods inventory positioning; complement specific Procurement activities to include a new ERP implementation (SAP S4H), vendor enrollment, guided buying, commerce automation and contracting as a supporting user of SAP Ariba.
- Organize KPI reviews of procurement categories together with the procurement category responsible leads.
About you
You have an excellent ability to collaborate cross-functionally, a passion for finding and putting data together, to ultimately create competitive advantage.
In addition, you are working towards or have:
- Bachelor's degree: International Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics
- Working exposure to Microsoft Office products, along with Power BI or Tableau
