Location: Greensboro, NC

Compensation: $28 - $34 per hour

Shift: 1st shift (2am – 10am)

About the Opportunity

RHI Magnesita is seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our Greensboro, NC plant. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and improving the reliability of mechanical and electrical systems across the plant.

This is a hands‑on position ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, and is committed to safety and continuous improvement. You will work both independently and alongside a collaborative maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Replace electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and sensors
• Rewire motors and replace motor bearings
• Troubleshoot and replace electronic components
• Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and prints
• Perform basic wiring and PLC troubleshooting
• Test malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve issues
• Lead by example in enforcing company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
• Promote a strong safety‑first culture across the facility
• Maintain accurate repair records and preventive maintenance documentation
• Support plant operations during off‑hours as needed

What You Bring

• 6 - 7 years of experience in a fast‑paced industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Knowledge of safety standards in an industrial environment
• Experience providing hands-on training and developing team capabilities
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster a collaborative, open‑door team culture
